Our hats off to Max u for suggesting this classic horror movie

"I mourn Julie Adams passing.  It hurts in a place deep in me, where monsters swim." Guilermo del Toro - February 2, 2019 on the passing of Julie Adams - at 92

The creature from the Black Lagoon is the Gill-man, a monstrous amphibious humanoid that lurks in the murky depths of a hidden lagoon in the Amazon rainforest. It first appeared in the 1954 classic black-and-white sci-fi horror film "Creature from the Black Lagoon"

The Gill-man is a relic of a bygone era, the last of its kind. It's a terrifying creature with sharp claws, webbed hands and feet, and gill slits on the side of its neck. The Gill-man is territorial and aggressive, and will attack anyone who enters its domain.

The film was a critical and commercial success, and spawned two sequels: "Revenge of the Creature" (1955) and "The Creature Walks Among Us" (1956). The Gill-man has also been featured in numerous comic books, video games, and other media. It is considered to be one of the most iconic movie monsters of all time.

Set in the Amazon, the movie can  be seen as a warning about protection of a fragile environment.

The opening sequence was really cool, the movie a lot of fun.

Hats off, indeed! I mean, they'd just come off in the lagoon anyhow! :-)
